I have booked at the hotel de la Sorbonne, so thanks for your help. Is it a fairly quiet hotel? Would you reccomend asking for any paticular room?

Thanks for the info. I e-mailed the hotel de la Sorbonne but they replied that a room would be 79 Euro which unfortunately is just outside my budget. I just want to make sure we have a reasonable...
