Quick question - money orders

For payment of the I-485 and I-130 can I just use money orders from the grocery store (hope so because that's what I got!) or do they have to be from the bank/post office?

Thanks Moxie! I'm going to go with the expired passport for now and hope they don't send an RFE. My dad has ordered another birth cert so if they do we are covered.
Interestingly, the Dr's office...

Thanks for your reply! So I put his current US address twice, under address he intents to live at and address where we both currently reside?
He does still have an address back home (his parents)...

Hi there!
My husband and I are beginning the (hopefully not too difficult) process of adjusting his status from J1 visa holder to perm resident.
I am filling out the I-130 form now and am hoping...
