Re: Applied for citizenship!

I sent mine in June/July, not expecting an AOR until maybe November and as above I suspect it will take something like 2 years to process. As far as I'm aware no tests have been carried out since...

Re: Average % of salary for renting?

$70k isn't gonna go that far in Ottawa either, You'd be very comfotable on that as a single person but for a family of 3 it's not a lot.
If you're anywhere near downtown you'll be paying $1800 and...

Re: Moving from UK to Canada to live off-grid

Sounds like it would be sensible to get some Canadian experience in whilst you are eligible for the IEC and perhaps use that to your advantage later if you decide you can put up with the weather,...

It was the Kompass account help/contact section, it came from this email address [email protected].

Re: IEC Applying through UK then Ireland

I actually asked this question on the IEC site very specifically stating I used my full allocation for the UK. This was the reply, which to me says you can use the full quota for both:

"Thank you...

Re: Implied visitor status?

No other way round it as far as I know, even in my case working for a big international firm I've been told it's a an unusual option with a fairly low chance of success. But it's also my only option...

Re: Implied visitor status?

The C20 has to be done through your company, I believe the gist of it is they have to show there is an excange and a Canadian doing something similar for the company in the UK. It's pretty similar to...

Re: Implied visitor status?

Thanks FL, I appreciate the advice and I know it's a bit of an unusual situation. I'll send off a postal change of status in a couple of weeks just to be on the safe side.

Re: Got turned away at the UK border

Re: Express Entry Scores and Progress Thread

If you click the...

Re: Express Entry Scores and Progress Thread
