You're right, but I think it's a few years off before we see major security scares in smartphone/tablets akin to the crap you get on traditional platforms. It will come though!

Why bother developing something that might gain control of a few hundred thousand or so iPhones, which have poor...

XP (and in particular IE6) was a steaming pile of shit, security wise. 7 has improved a lot though. These days you would have to be very smart to write a Windows virus (See Flame/Stuxnet)

Read my post properly? The software engineers in charge of security are shit, because pretty much every major version of iOS since release has had gaping security holes in it. Several were so bad...

I've never been to Dubai, and I've only been to a few bars in Doha so I guess I never realised that the locals (at least in Dubai, no idea about Doha) get up to that sort of thing!

I just moved to Doha a few weeks ago with my wife, and I've started applying for jobs in IT but so far without much luck.
I've heard that applying to actual job adverts is a bit of a waste...
