Perfect, thanks. Tax and licensing etc. seems pretty similar to being self-employed/sole trader in the UK or Australia, which I've done before. Just wasn't sure if I was permitted to set it up under...

If granted my IEC I'm hoping to find work on a freelance/contract basis while in Canada. From what I can tell, this kind of thing would normally be done under a sole proprietorship.

I'm fairly sure the I1295E is not needed for IEC, the corresponding form they give under the application guide is IMM1295E.

Are you following the guide here?
