Well I've never done such a long trip before or applied for a visa. I'm almost regretting asking now as some of this hostility is really unnecessary.

This is 100% genuine I swear. I joined this company in feb and have a contract and payslips to prove it.
I have £30k of savings in my bank and the company have a sublet here for me to be based it....

I said I had applied for a B2 interview but actually needed a B1 and they said no problem as all the interviews are for B1/B2. I just had to change the DS-160. :fingerscrossed:

Not the case. I spoke to the embassy and the appointment is for a b1/b2 so I have my documentation from my employer. Fingers crossed I'll get the b1 and I can stop feeling physically sick :(

I'll call the embassy first thing tomorrow and push back the appointment and ask if I can change it from a B2 to B1 application.

Now, because of my booked Hawaii holiday, should I stay in the UK...
