Re: Advice needed please

You don't need to travel anywhere and I would strongly advise against it. If you decide to go against this advice then only travel with your German wife and carry your Marriage Certificate with you. ...

Re: I applied for the Visa Waiver Programme after B-2 denial and got in. And you can

Regarding the documents that you 'should' carry - you don't need any of these (hence the nature of the VWP) except for your return ticket - but this is a requirement under VWP in any event

Re: UK/USA Citizen entering the UK and the USA

Why would you want to enter the UK on a US ppt if you're a UK citizen as well. A US citizen can only be granted leave to enter for a maximum of 6 months subject to conditions. You'd be making life...

Re: Question about US CBP

First of all are you entereing on a visa? VWP? In any event why do you have such frequent visits to the US? Do you have a GF/partner there? Nobody can tell you for sure as to what is going to happen...

Re: A bit of a situation.

UK Emergency Travel Documents
UK Emergency Travel Documents (ETD) are not valid for entry into the United States under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). If you’re planning to enter the US using a UK...

Re: Entering on B2

I think you will still be sent to secondary so if I were you, I'd prepare myself mentally for that (I'd say the chances are 80% that you will be referred) and remember that a visa can still be...

Re: ESTA New screen/question?

This question relates to the online survey that CBP want to send to you and has no bearing on your ESTA status. It won't come up again until you apply for a new ESTA.

Re: Has someone actually got in with denied b2/approved ESTA?

Will not happen. There are many considerations before someone can be refused entry. No reasonable IO will deny a passenger on such flimsy grounds. I have yet to come across such a case. It simply...

Re: Esta approved, then they said no. Able to Re-apply?

I think a more likely scenario was that something must have happened at the airport and in the light of this, your ESTA got revoked. The police could have called the airline in order to deny you...

Re: Frequent Secondary Screening - What to do?

[QUOTE=ian-mstm;10868421] when you're on the VWP, they don't actually need a reason to refuse you entry... so, consider yourself lucky so far!

Well they do need to give reasons but the VWP...

Re: Please Help, what to expect when travelling to Florida with b2 visa + caution!

You might also be sent to Secondary Inspection on arrival. However, you should be fine if you tell them the truth. I wouldn't worry too much about it though.

Re: travelling with previous b2 denials

They will send you to secondary inspection and will ask questions about the previous visa denials. You just need to answer the questions honestly. You've ticked YES on ESTA regarding the previous...

Re: Travelling Via Dublin

You must have ticked YES to one of the Questions on ESTA.. Did you?

I'd say the chances are around 95% you'll be sent to secondary inspection at Dublin.

Re: Denied B2 visa Twice, Travelling on approved ESTA

Hi

Was the visa denied in the UK whilst you were a SA national (which I presume) and was it denied because you could not show sufficient ties to the UK? If so then I wouldn't worry too much about...

Re: Denied B2 Visa. Q. RE. Entry at Border Control & Reentering

Just tell them that you intend to stay for the whole 90 days. You've got a better chance that way rather than telling lies at the border. You will be sent to secondary anyway and they are going to...

Re: Submitted DS-160 Form, but wants to travel with ESTA

A visa denial would be recorded on the last page of the ppt in the form of a date and the US Embassy London stamp. This would indicate that your visa was denied.

Re: Overstayed VWP - questions

If you try to re-enter in the future, they would still know that you have overstayed during the previous visit. This is because the entry and exit systems of DHS are linked and so when the CBP...

Re: ESTA - Visa Cancellation Question

I agree with Chrisdc. Because your visa was cancelled without prejudice (these are the two operative words) it means that you were entitled to tick no to that particular question. A visa cancellation...
