This isn't the LOI it is a letter from the IEC giving you information, the LOI came a week before that for me, it is a generic work permit email with your WTN number and just says study or work...

I've gone with Virgin Mobile, they have a pretty good set of plans that unlike in the UK you can have pay monthly contracts which you can cancel whenever you want without voiding the contract.

I think you can contact companies and tell them that you are getting a working holiday visa before you set off to see if they can provisionally offer you a job.

I'm going to be doing the drive down to the border sometime next week so I can re-enter. All I'll need is the letter, passport and bank statement so I'm all set now. Then I can start job hunting :P

In Edmonton, Calgary and somewhere else there are a chain of shops called the British store. They have all the bests including cadbury and caramels. Oh and a lot of sports stuff.

That is exactly what you need, so long as you have the proof of funds from a week before you leave, either a statement or a letter from the bank you are fine. And that is a great price for insurance.
