Okay, that'll be a long-term goal!

This may be a silly question, but assuming I were to leave work altogether to ease the process, could I not just get a 90 day visa on the VWP, return to the UK...

I will have to find out which visa she'll be on. After the maternity cover, however, it's taken as read that she can then stay on fulltime. If this is the case then an L-1 would be likely?

Just to clarify at this point then, my options are;

- Apply for 6 month B-2 cohabitating partner visa and NOT work while in US
- Apply for 90 day VWP with an ESTA and NOT work while in USA

We do live together, and have been for a year now, so will look into B-2 cohabitating partner visa.

Can leave work if it proves to be a hinderance, although not...
