I suffered back in 2007 timeframe when I used to send dollars to the UK to pay my outstanding credit card debt and part of mortgage payment not covered by the rent. I could not have avoided those...

Well tax wise it has been. as enrolled in the NRL (Non Resident Landlord) programme... So that is fine..

In my case neither do I have Equity nor capital into the property ... So if I sell I will have bring "new" money on the table to repay the loan.

Thanks Ian. My birth country (India) requires me to renounce Indian Citizenship if I acquire citizenship of any country - not necessarily UK.

Can a Naturalised UK Citizen naturalize in the US too?

Just wondering if a Naturalised Citizen of UK staying in the US become US Citizen too via naturalization process (GC+4 yrs)?

(p.s: Have renunciated birth country citizenship before becoming UK...
