Thanks for that post, it's lovely to hear from someone who is happy. I've read a lot of doom and gloom on here and as we haven't got to Canada yet it's quite disturbing to read at times.

We're going to Alberta so it's a little different. Only 1 year at K for example but I just found this on the Gov site and it looks like we could have either option really.

I would like some opinions on the differences between Canada v's British school ages. This is mostly because I have only just realised that kids don't start school until 6 in Canada...
