Have to agree with Mrs Pointer - my role wasn't one that was listed as a shortage - and I was 53 amd my wife was 51 when we applied. I set up an appointment with an officer at NZ House in Londaon....

Thanks for the advice.

Someone else had mentioned that HSBC were a good option for transfering funds, we have Westpac as our local HSBC operation and will go in there first thing next...
