I came to NS in 2009, I applied and got a NS licence that same year... There was NEVER a discussion that I had to SWAP my UK licence for an Canadian one.... I hold both licences.... I always WILL......

I think that if you were to come as a Visitor THEN apply (whilst still a visitor) this would apply to you...
