Waiver received now for one year multi entry. Yay :)

I'll apply for the H4 in a few months. Any ideas on how to determine if I am eligible for an immigrant waiver? That would be my next step...

just recieved email asking me to submit my passport for issuance:):):):). It has been just over 25 weeks. Ill let you know when the passport/visa is returned.

So this link seems to suggest that the B2 visa can be used for an extended stay in the US. Do you know if it is possible for me to switch status while in the US on a B2 visa? ...

No.

asking if I can change me application from B2 to H4, but before the visa has been issued. My B2 visa status is pending a decision on my waiver and the waiver has not been granted/denied yet. ...

Thank you. Meant to say no intention of permanently moving to te US until I have a green card or a US working visa and job.

Thank you for your response, but I was talking about maintaining my Job in the Uk. I have no intention of permanently moving to the US. Just getting the H4 so that I can travel freely to the US.

I am in a similar position to you... Interview was on the 7th of October and it will be 14 weeks on Friday with out hearing back from the embassy:(.
