A few years ago the Language Centre at the University of Groningen (about an hour away) did intensive courses over the Summer - every morning, two or three weeks long. I'm not sure if they still do...

I recently moved to Den Haag from Groningen, and being lazy I was thinking around here somewhere - or perhaps the beach if it's not too blowy? Could be a nice ride for you yeah :)

I second what lancsplumber said; housing in Leiden (especially in the centre of town) is pretty pricey, especially if you're looking for a house with 2 or more bedrooms. Landlords can rent those...
