I agree that IVP may be quicker in many cases. I have a bad feeling about I-485 cases piled up somewhere at the Service Centers and put on the pay no mind list because priority dates are not current....

Does not affect you at all because you are not at stage two of green card process (I-140) yet and you are not running out of H-1B time.
