IÂ´ve lived near Martos since 1996. I donÂ´t think Alcaudete is run down but I wouldnÂ´t particularly want to live there or in Martos itself, but IÂ´m a country girl therefore biased!

There are quite a few expats who live in Martos and many more in the surrounding area.

More again that have a second/holiday home there.

There are no English speaking architects in Martos. WeÂ´ve used a good Spanish one.
