The Visa I was refering to was a RETIREE Visa which I assume comes under the heading Temporary Visa as against a Permanent Visa. I may be wrong but I understand that earlier this year the rules were...

Regarding the new rules allowing non PR imigrants to work 20 hours per week. Does Oz have a minimum wage as here in the UK.
If not what is the average wage one can expect to earn in a unskilled job....

(9-Nov-03) regarding medical insurance for ex-pats. Go-Matilda states they can get you cover for about $1000.

As a retiree to OZ I think I can only get a tempoary visa.
So it appears from what you say without a PR visa I cant buy a second property for income/
