Worth a try contacting CPS, but they probably won't sponsor you and you'll need PR to apply. They did have Provincial Nominee status a couple...

Not yet, having a bit of a debate with my line manager and HR. Official force policy is that there are no more career breaks, and unless you've a pretty high sponsor, you certainly wouldn't get one...

They did say they wanted a start date as soon as possible and asked what the minimum notice I had to give was. They also asked how long I would need to get my affairs in order before the move... Mind...

To be honest, it was the usual police interview stuff. Give and example of dealing with conflict, what if one of you colleagues said that and that, and give an example of complex report writing...

Had the telephone interview. Seemed to go very well, with the head of HR, a female CI and a British Insp. Was on the phone for over an hour.
