Stuff like lego is expensive in this region and choice is very limited. Buy from UK before you come out here. The packaging is normally way too big, so what we do, is we flat pack it. Carefully open...

You will save some due to the lack of entertainment here. Cost of living is cheaper than the West, but if you ae looking for the same products that you have been used to, then double the price...

They have basically meshed together three comics into one story line seamlessly. It is meant to be a 3D movie, but we enjoyed it nonetheless.

Apparently, they introduced income tax in 1985, and then cancelled it the following day after droves of expats handed in their resignations.

Can any long serving expat in Saudi confirm...

Here in Saudi, we don't get anytime off for the 1st of Muharram. They don't see it as a religious day. Just the two eids and national day (which we only started getting off a few years ago).
