Thanks for both the link and the support. My hubby is struggling to realise the depth of my homesickness. I also suffer from depression, so it's like a double whammy.

currently on my 6th month or so in Montreal for the second time, but feeling terribly homesick and missing my family. Hoping to plan a trip back sometime within the next year, but flights...

Thanks! That's great to know :) Just thought I'd check here and see if anybody knew since on top of the immigration stuff I didn't want a nasty surprise when I arrived.

Yes, my husband is Canadian. Thanks so much for your help. Our lovely inlaws have agreed to cover the funds so now we just need to get started.

This stuff always has to be incredibly complicated...
