Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Thanks for confirming.

I know it's not a difficult concept. However as I have never once needed a VWP myself I wanted someone to clarify who has done this before.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Quick question that I just had a panic about.

Does my husband need to fill out the VWP ESTA form if he has a visa? Logic would say he doesn't but I don't have much experience with the ESTA thing,...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

My husband showed up for his interview at around 06.45. There were 2 people in the queue already, though he was the first immigrant visa.

His appointment was at 08.00. I don't know what time he...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

I believe so. I'm not 100% sure, but I'd bring it with the brown envelope.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Chest x-rays. I think it's strange that they put everything else in the "brown envelope" but not the chest x-rays.

I'm still convinced it's some sort of big test to see how well we follow...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Have you requested to expedite the interview date? We were told to wait the first 3 times we called, then the 4th time we used the magic word "expedite" and that's when they gave us the code.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

That's how we got our interview date too. We called and asked them to expedite it and that's when they gave us the code and the email. I'm not 100% if they did expedite it, but we seemed to have...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

We had our interview yesterday. We live in Croydon and travelled to London and there was not a single problem with the riots, so all should be fine.

Hubby was approved!!! I was so excited.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

The US news bit is the worst part. I was on the phone with my mom telling her it's not that bad and no where near us, but they were actually showing Croydon the TV, so I couldn't fool her.

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

We have our interview tomorrow! :) I can't believe it's finally here. Still hardly seems real.

We live in South Croydon and after watching everything that went on in central Croydon yesterday,...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

We used Air Supply Shipping (or passports for pets). They quoted £1032 for 2 cats travelling from Heathrow to Newark, NJ. This costs includes them picking the cats up from our houses, holding them...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

They're going in Cargo. I was under the impression that pets were no longer allowed to travel in the cabin?

We're using Air Supply Shipping to take care of everything for us. They will be flying...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

When I called the premium number, they said it would take up to 4 weeks for everything to be updated in the system. So that could be what you're waiting for now. When are you planning on moving...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

It's definitely possible. Did you send off your DS2001 yet? They request a cover letter with that stating the date you wish to move home. Then we chased 2 weeks after our medical to check on the...

Re: DCF - I-130 Filing in London. Join In Here!

Our petition was approved on June 3rd and we didn't receive the letter with the case number until June 23rd. So you might still have some waiting to do.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think they...

I didn't really feel...

Not sure if this it too late now, but we are using Passports for Pets (Airsupply Shipping Agents). We are very stressed about sending our cats (our babies!) so we are using them to literally do...
