still confused!
so this transportation letter, is that for the benefit to show at this end, or at the POE in the atates when i get there instead of my expired GC?

confused now! it says you can get a transportation letter if you have been out of the states less than 12 months then i have to make appointment then go to london and get this letter, have to show...

sorry yes i mean the 2 year green card, it expired last year. so it was expired when i left the usa. so as i understand it , if i go before a year i should have no problem getting the transportation...

yes it was a petty offence.
I spoke tp an immigration lawyer in NY, the one i originally used and he said i would have to start again, My new green card is still in Ny, just never went to get it!!...
