I know, I entered initially on a one way ticket, and a dodgy story about aiesec and permits and whatnot and they let me in no issue.

In theory, if nothing comes, can I just buy a ticket out of Canada one way somewhere else to show immigration I am not going to stay?

Well don't end up in my situation! Don't pick up your PR until you come back as you will be left with no document to travel with!

Like the link said my Long Document is only valid for travel by car. I need my PR card for anything else. There is nothing I can do to speed up the PR card, except pray...

Mine wasnt even in process, mine was "Received" for 7 months! I pointed out this was over the processing time in which I applied, and Ive heard nothing, and I am panicking because of my last incident.

They opened mine june 12th, I got an update that they have started processing January 14th. Thats 7months time for me.

Someone should add my time line to the spread sheet to make people feel better about their own cases, Sponsor Approved August 15, still not even in process or received by london.
