If you did an objective comparison of prices for food (groceries and restaurant), clothing, cars (new or used), petrol/gas, wine & beer (staples!), electronics...

If anyone's interested, I did get a full refund of Careline charges by contesting them through the credit card company. Less than $30, but it was the principle of the thing. Evidently the passport...

My daughter's passport finally arrived. 14 weeks after the application was sent in; 11 weeks after the credit card was charged.

Submitted daughter's passport application in March. Credit card charged March 23rd. Still no passport. Scheduled to leave June 8th. In a total panic.
