Does this mean that I would have to apply and wait 6 months (like I did for this one) to get the work visa? So basically, I wouldnt be able to go short notice if needed?

And what about if I wanted to enter for work reasons? Would I be able to get a work visa if I needed to visit my US colleagues, or would I need to go through a similar sort of process for that?
