She would either be one of the oldest year 2 in the class or one of the youngest year 3, going by our local school. 1st july cut off varies from school to school many have different cut off dates....

At our school they start on their 5th birthday and if this is before june they then continue on in to year two the following year. If their 5th is after June the following year they stay on in year...

Certainld did not have to do medivals ets again just filled out a form very easy. You have 5 years on your oz visa so you can do it which ever way you want you got loads time.

We came on an ozzie visa and recently got nz citizenship. I was concerned that as we had entered on oz visa and not applied directly to nz there mey be complications but there were none.

There is a company over here that deals in second hand endowments and these give a tax free pay out in NZ, so i assumed UK endowments would also be tax free. think many peole will keep them transfer...

Not sure if that is correct. There is a company over here that deals in second hand endowments and it talks about the policies being tax paid. The worry would not be the annual increase so much but...

Does anyone know if there are tax implications on keeping an endowment policy in the UK. I know if you go to Aussie you get taxed on yearly increase and final payout, is this the same in NZ.

Yep, midwife takes care of you here not the local doctor which is the way it should be I suppose. my wife had one midwife throughout pregnancy and then at the birth so you know the person helping you...

The Tuki Tuki river runs behind Te Mata peak great views, so the river is close with some proerties on it. have a look at craggy range winery website situated on the river. main beaches are ocean...

Hi, no need to go any where else everything in the town centre. easy choice for us 3 good public and 3 good private schools in havelock. Highest 5 of expats in hawkes bay from uk, Holland and south...

Hi, difficult one there are not to many possibilities . haumoana/te awanga area is good bit hippy in places great in the summer in winter houses do get evacuated well the ones near the beach. napier...

certainly loads in the parks in hawkes bay and the local kids don't seem to play conkers, so they tend to just rot under the trees unless an expat family finds them first.
