Ok, thanks for the info. Still not a huge amount so might just leave it. My original offer in Abu Dhabi was 11,000......but this position in Dubai is 14,000 so better off anyway.

I've just received my contract for the job in Dubai I've decided to take. It appears that utilities (water and electricity) are not included. Would it be appropriate to try and negotiate with them...

it looks like I may be heading to Dubai after all, as opposed to Abu Dhabi. I've been offered a position at a GEMS school that I like the look of - and the package is better...

To be honest, I actually like the sound of Abu Dhabi as opposed to Dubai. Sounds a little less hectic - but I like the idea that I can always go for the weekend if I want to :)...

No I don't think so.....I'll probably just rely on public transport and taxi's as it appears cheap enough. The school provide me with transport to school and back as well so I should be grand!
