Re: K3 Visa - No case status change

Good Luck with your RFE. We got one on 10/30/03. THey needed copies of forms that we had already sent. So we got them together and they received the documents on 11/7/03. They finally changed our...

Re: When are RFE's going to be approved

I know that you have visited the Service Centers and have a good knowledge of how things work there. I have always wondered, what actually is involved in processing a case. Once it comes off the...

Re: When are RFE's going to be approved

Not to belabor this too much, because I agree with everything you are saying, but I wanted to expand on the wanting more status part.

I assume that they have an automated system for tracking...

Re: Do you think we were forgotten?

I understand the overdue method for cases once they have been submitted, but what about for RFE's. Does the same thing apply based on when the received your documents. Is it overdue 30 days after...

Re: Do you think we were forgotten?

Yup, we got an RFE as well. The RFE was on 10/30 and our documents arrived 11/13. Haven't heard a thing. It's been over 30 days since they got our response. Originally I heard that it takes 2 to...

Re: When are RFE's going to be approved

I appreciate what you are saying, and I understand the volume that they process each year. I've looked at the number of Visas/Green Cards/etc. that are issued each year and it is staggering.

My...

Re: When are RFE's going to be approved

Not to add fuel to the fire, but back in June and July, cases were being approved in 35 to 45 days. Check some of the old time lines. There was a huge slowdown in August and September, then they...

Re: Approved I129f MSC/K3 YAHOOOOOOOOOOO

When did the Senator's Office step in to help out? tmushen and I both had our Congressman's office call and check on things. We both got RFE's a week or so later. Probably coincidence, but maybe...

Re: When are RFE's going to be approved

Yes, it sucks. I also think that it's about deliberately making the process longer. They don't want it to be too quick or more people will come into the country.

It's also a total joke that the...

Re: Approved I129f MSC/K3 YAHOOOOOOOOOOO

Congratulations!!!! That is an awesome Chistrmas present.

Did you get an RFE? If so, what were the dates of it and when did you get the paperwork back. Our NOA1 is 8/4 and we're still waiting...

Re: Colombian Consulate

Did you check their homepage and see if there are any additional numbers. It sounds like you've tried email and had no luck. That is suprising. I've emailed the US Embassy in Panama several times...

Re: We got our I-129F (K3) approval today (Dec 12)! NOA1 Sept 22

They received our documents on 11/13/03. My lawyher got something from then in the mail confirming it. But, our online status has not changed. It is still the same as it always been. That worries...

Re: We got our I-129F (K3) approval today (Dec 12)! NOA1 Sept 22

Congratulations. It's always good to hear good news. I saw on the timeline that there were 4 approvals on the 12th. They are really starting to work through the backlog. Now, if they would only...

Re: Complete Joke

I feel your pain. We are in the same boat. Our NOA1 date was 8/4, got an RFE on 10/30. Got the documents to them on 11/13, and then nothing.

I know ours was 100% intact and correct as well. ...

Re: NBC processing times - a theory

That's possible. But, I tend to think that these are just typos or some other sort of error on the part of the people putting together the report. Some of the old pdf reports have lots of typos in...

A little whining is good for you I think. NO need to apologize. If we need to start apologizing for our whining, I'll need to apologize to a lot of people in this NG.

I'm sure your packet 3 will...

Re: New USCIS Processing Dates

The site always shows two dates. THe...

Re: MSC waiting times

All K3 Apps are sent to Chicago, then forwarded onto the Missouri Service Center (MSC) now knows as the National Benefits Center (NBC).

Based on what I've seen from the timelines, they are now...

Re: Very Disappointed

THey used to update processing status on the 1st and the 15th of each month. This would then take about a week to make it to the web. Or at least usually, sometimes they would miss a date, or some...
