I decided when I arrived that I wouldn't drink any non-NZ beer or wine for a year as it must be possible to drink local. 11 months in & not missed anything so far...

Paracetamol, ibuprofen, asprin etc. Cheapo Boots own brand kind of thing. Pricing suggests that the patent hasn't expired here

I've been here 3 months & still have to 'convert' prices to pounds by halving the price to see if I think something is reasonable. This isn't so much to compare the price with what I would have paid...
