Basically, the proper and legal way is for you to either fly in on the VWP, marry and LEAVE and file for the immigrant visa as a spouse, or remain here whilst your fiance files the K1 and then fly...

Here in the UK, we have 2 types of fostering: i. Govt. placed children, and ii. Private arranged fostering approved by the Govt. My situation is the latter. My foster son went to school with my son....

Yes. I have 4 children in total - 3 biological children (12 - son, 15 - daughter, 17 - son) and a 17 year old private foster son.

I didnt think so. I thought i would ask to see if there were any...

Unfortunately, the dads are named on their birth certificates, so it looks like Im going to need to get permission to take them out of the country.

Once the CR1 Immigrant visa has been granted, what is the time limit that you need to enter the US? 3 or 6 months?

Thanks for everyones responses. I didn't think it was possible due to the immigration aspect of it. I'd advised her whilst we were having the dispute that there could be possible immigration...

I dont know when you last applied/renewed a UK passport... But now the cosignatory has to give their passport details! So YES... they do check!
