Re: Expats Leaving Barbados..Why?

Re: recycling?

Hi Julie!

Perhaps they'll suddenly decide...

Re: Help with our decision to move to Barbados, please

Hi there,

Not sure how much I can assist with your questions but I'll do my best!
Similar to what I said to Sherry in another thread, my advice is to check out the PYP Programme and if it...

Re: primary school curriculum and which school in bridgetown

Hi Sherry,

With the PYP curriculum, there are no '11+ exams' as such. Instead, each child does their own Exhibition, which runs within the Unit of Inquiry throughout the year. Being an...

Noise Pollution

Hello All!

I joined this site a year and a half ago, with an imminent move to Barbados on the cards. Well, here we are now and here I am still in Barbados, keeping myself busy ... and working on...

Re: A Brief Introduction & My Situation

Hi Serendipidy

Thanks for your advice - I'll keep that approach in mind for sure. If it's mostly a reciprocal response to UK border control maybe coming in from Germany may be a teeny tiny help...

Re: A Brief Introduction & My Situation

Hi Sunni, cheers for the reply.

I did email Andre Miller - the advice I got was to stay close and see what's happening. There are apparently continuous conservation projects occurring. This is...

Things are getting sold, packed up, etc. and we've booked our tickets for the 1st...

Welcome & agreed. This site is enormous.
I managed to "get out" of the UK as well, although it will always hold a special place in my heart. I've only made it as far as Germany, but.. baby steps!
