No he hasnt actually got the job yet, he is keen to cancel the holiday and stay for the next interview, they are asking for him to prove his residency and i dont see why we should cancel the holiday...

You say the interview is scheduled for 31 May ... why not ask for the date to be changed? End of May is still a few months away, it doesn't look like employer wants someone to start...
