Re: CR1 Interview on Friday... A Couple of Questions

Jeremy,

No and yes. If everything has gone to plan they should have all of your paperwork in the file there already. I did take copies of what I could muster, but didn't need them. They did,...

Re: Sworn affidavits in support of I-130 petition

Gareth,

Having literally just completed the CR1 process, I think I should warn you that, whilst obviously trying to be helpful, a lot of people on this site tend to recommend (almost insist) that...

Re: CR1 Interview on Friday... A Couple of Questions

Re: CR1 Interview on Friday... A Couple of Questions

Hmmm... I could certainly re-fill my forms (and the affidavits without signatures) before I go... Don't think we took copies of the affidavits before we sent them? Hopefully won't be a problem! If...

Re: CR1 Interview on Friday... A Couple of Questions

Ian,

I may be naive in assuming that my documentation will be there. Although I am fairly confident that it will as they told me that they couldn't modify my interview date until they had said...

Re: CR1 Interview on Friday... A Couple of Questions

SDB1985 I'm assuming that you filed DCF?

When you file in the states you have already sent the marriage certificate (and copy) to the NVC before the interview and they forward it on to London. So...

So, given that they already have all my original documents (with copies), I am assuming that I'm good to go with just letter and passport in hand!

Anyone any experience of leaving anything bigger...

Re: Rob1985's questions on CR-1 Interview Date

Yea, I know the pitfalls of booking the flight before the passport is in hand and shan't be doing that.

As long as the processing doesn't exceed the usual quoted maximum of two weeks, I should be...
