It's mostly about her life here, you know drunken weekends, karaoke bars, brunches etc etc. The affair is integral in the book, some arab businessman apparantly.

I've just tried to finish this book but have given up. Self indulgent and racist rubbish i'm afraid. As for the affair well she spends most of what i've read rubbishing him so clearly just gold...
