Can this be approached from a different angle?

Instead of showing you're leaving the UK can you not show what you're doing to "domicile" in the USA? I.e schools for kids, work, housing etc?

They took payment today :-)

We sent last Wednesday, received Friday (recorded delivery), and payment was processed yesterday, debited today.

The waiting process begins...........
