As pollyana just said, it does depend on where you want to go. I was looking for a holiday destination to meet my family, but i was pretty limited due to this reason.

I wouldn't use the words "isolated" or "lonely" because Townsville has everything you need. I've been here for 2.5 years now and have never needed to go anywhere for anything. In my opinion...
