For iplayer you might need a vpn tunnel over a proxy, this, http://www.gettvabroad.com/, site might help. As for it being illegal? Bit of a grey area I'd say, breech of eula/contract perhaps, but...

Hi, first time poster here, and sorry if this has been asked before butâ€¦ I'm planning on moving to BP in Feb/March and would appreciate any pointers on renting long term (i.e 6 months to a year)....
