Ian, even if I don't have a family of my own at the moment, it doesn't mean I do not want one ever. I may be young but I want to settle down somewhere.

I think you misunderstand. I have enough for the 500k investment in Jay Peak, and then $350k - $400k on a property to live in.

Actually I would do anything to get into the USA, which is the reason for my many posts. I have recently inherited some money. I would have around $350,000 for a property.

1) I want a place that has average prices on everyday things
2) LA

You probably get this alot, but...

I am not currently a Policeman even in the UK however if i was to become one here and work at it for around 3 or 4 years would that allow me to move to the USA...

How do you do it?

Well i was looking at the points system on the canada immigration website, and trucking isn't one of there main jobs. How do you emmigrate by trucking, im confused.
