why not go now on a 457 visa and let your employer sponsor you when you come here so you get a bridging visa.
This I think is the quickest for you to move here and start earning a living right away...

We also want case officers to focus on case related emails rather than flood them with ((unnessessarryy)) time wasting stuff.

I finally got a copy of the PCC today.
However it is a black and white copy and not the original one as it seems to have been lost in the mail.

I have been in very similar situation.
Now note that form 80 processing takes some time and a long time for HR countries so it is advisable not to do medicals at this stage unless it is requested....

I was on a temporary working visa in perth and all what i have to do is to get a tax file number. I belive ABN number is also issued by the taxt office (ATO).
Just visit the ATO in northbridge area...

Please note that if you come on a 457 visa and you lose your jobs, then you will be given only 28 days to leave the country. that is hard when you have children.
It is very challenging emotionally...
