So, after all that - I think I will apply for the 175 visa in the next couple weeks - risk be damned.

(Still worried about why they ask for how much money your taking though).

I got on to the website - under skilled sponsorship they are only offering graduate (886) and regional australia (487) sponsorships?

I was confused by the installments as well.

The first instalment ($2575) is payable when you make the application - the second payment is only payable if your significant other/wife/husband does...

Was very tempted to just submit my 175 today.

But have decided to wait for the next announcement from the WA state - too many rumours they are due to announce something soon for me to ignore them.

I looked at the client service charter at the DoIC website.

They say they will get category 2 visas (176) out in 6 months and the category 3...

Did you get a degree in Electrical Engineering?

If its a degree on an approved list this may be enough.
