Yes it seems the taxes in Italy are very high as my husband is autónomo as well we opted to move for Spain as Italy was out of option due to high taxes.

yes we have spent 300 euro of wood last year with our open fire but the temperature was just over 19 degrees in the room after a full day of fire I do not want to go through a winter like that once...

If you have your own wood definitly it is worth but as we do not have wood and we have to buy it anyway my husband sort of decided for the new technology. But I do not think that the pellets are wood...

I do not know how they are called in english there are called palletes to me they look like dog food but made of remains of wood or olive remains.
