Thats great! Its nice to have the flexibility. My hubbys a country bumpkin so cant stand the crowds in England! i dont think I could get him to move here without a hell of a fight!

Its more the process of filing through London seems to have many levels to understand. Perhaps its more because im so familiarized with the route ive taken, that i cant get CSC -> NVC -> Embassy out...

Oh no! It seems everyones getting knocked down by the flu. I just recovered, although Sussex is now apparently on the verge of a pandemic (dramatic as usual!)

I was just curious as to whether I needn't have bothered sending all the extra evidence. And it appears not!

The only thing I wonder about now, is that at interview, any evidence I carry with me...

Interesting. Is that list a DCF specific for London then, or a general guide for those submitting I-130s, even if submitted abroad?

I havent heard anything about that? Although im not DCF but my understanding was that the same inital package is sent in whether DCF or not. I was advised to front-load the petition, and I did.

Yep! I-130, G-325a's (one each), a passport photo each. Proof of USC citizenship (passport or BC), Marriage certificate as well as any evidence to prove your marriage is bonafide!

my question is, if you were to file WITHIN the 90 days, but were later denied the AOS. Would the time you had been "legally out of status" turn unauthorized...

Oh damn, well ill look it up so I know for reference.

I guess if i didnt put it on the USCIS forms, I shouldnt put it on the NVC form, so just mention it at interview?

Or put it on NVC forms...

Yes sorry, I was applying this specifically to a school-based J1.

However, I was told that my SSN was a temporary one, that could NOT be used in any future dealings with US immigration. I wish I...

As far as im aware the J1 does NOT allow you to work, you do have to apply for authorization, plus apply for a SSN.

When you enter on a J1 you are given a temporary SSN but this doesnt allow you...

The problem some people have found on this forum and others, is that when you have an immigrant visa pending, sometimes the officer assumes you are 'visiting' in order to stay and adjust status...
