Hey guys,

I have completed my 5 years in NZ now. Had a up and down time in auckland but glad i stuck it out.

Ive just started to fill my citizenship forms out and getting the ball rolling....

I am very focussed on getting the wheels moving! I think in the long run having more time to sort everything out will be better. Will have more time to save my parachute money for when i arrive etc....

I think the only issue with my parents is me leaving makes them feel like they made a poor choice for me. They really didn't! They've given me somewhere i can always come back...

Work ethic in NZ is relaxed to say the least. I think this gives us brits a great reputation here as we just seem to have a naturally higher expectation of quality.

I have previously lived on the HBC and i found it way to far out from the city. This is reflected with the large amount of older people up there. I do have mates who stuck it out up there.
