thanks everyone for the clarification.

I received the 18th march email ...one month pass ...2 more months to go...hope to get CO soon . will proceed to medical and police clearance in May.

I m dependent( wife) of the main applicant of subclass 175.

so may i know IF after PR granted, my visa will be a Permanent visa or Temporary visa?

DIAC just sent to me suddenly.

there is another thread where many 175 visa applicants also received such email from DIAC.

I am excited but there is a forumer said it may b a system glitch...

hi all....i received an email from DIAC.

referring to the email, my application will soon be allocate a CO & anticipates that my application will be allocated to a case officer for assessment...

erm...even i get a sponsorship , i have to re lodge a new application rite... need to pay the application fee again ...

now they dont allow convert from 175 to 176 any more , so unless i lodge a...

I am confused ... i applied 175 , will the SMP increase my chances of getting an CO earlier??

I was hoping Vic may hav my job in their SMP list, but too bad, they dont :(
