Do you have a bank account ( off shore) back home? If so, you can bring up to $10,000 per person, each year without causing any red flags to go up. Above that, the IRS may take a closer look.

How much does XEtrade save then?

Our bank in the UK charges about 25 pounds per transaction to convert pounds into dollars...so what are the benefits of using XE trade? Twenty five pounds is neither here or there as far as peace...
