Thanks for that Rene. My sister did get a receipt and the money came out of the account within a week, but has not heard anything else. So just sit back and wait then?

Hi,

Can you help. My sister sent in a I-130 form back in March 2012, but we have not heard anything from them. I have been looking around and it says there is about 10 to 12 months to be approved...

Hi,

Just a quick question. My sister has come across a part on the citizenship for were you have to agree if the U.S is called to war that she might be asked to fight for the US. She is 45 now....

so you but your application in for citizenship. Read the book and CD, then you will be called for an interview after (how many days or mouths) anyone know. At ur interview you answer some qusetions...

I did ask and she had a GC for 2 years but was in the US for 20 years
