That's pretty much the approach I thought I'd end up taking - go to NZ on a holiday visa and hope to get some interviews and a job offer. Good to know you were successful....

Just out of interest, how long did the process take for you - i.e. from submitting your EOI to being granted your permit ? I've tried looking on the Imigration website, but can't find any rough...

Good point - I think I have 120 points without the degree, so wouldn't make 140 with it anyway.
But do people usually get a job offer before submitting the EOI anyway (with a job offer I'd easily...
