since October 29, 2010, the US embassy in London has had my husband's passport and continues to do "additional administrative processing".

as of March 4, 2011, it has been 90...

It has now been nearly 2 weeks (10 business days) since we sent the coded email (after the 20 business day period) and we have yet to receive a response from the US embassy...

That is a good way of putting it... I would think 1-3 months holding passport is okay but any longer it really becomes disruptive. Hopefully we get an email back soon and they clarify whether we are...
