Alternatively, I saved the app form as a separate file and filled out the employment continuation electronically and then printed it out. That seemed to work too :).

Managed to get my proof of funds form signed, stamped and dated today from my local Barclays branch on the first attempt so sigh of relief! Guy was very friendly.

I'll definitely bear that in mind, when people say 'Canadian experience' I always assumed you needed it in your respective field, didn't fathom you could get it in another field, very useful!
